Burn Bright was founded on a simple belief:

Life is a gift, and we don’t have forever.

Too many people spend their lives waiting for the right time, chasing things that won’t last, or putting off the adventures, dreams, and relationships that matter most. I created Burn Bright as a reminder to do the opposite.

Get outside.
Take the trip.
Watch the sunset.
Spend time with your family.
Make memories.
Live with purpose.

For me, the outdoors has always been more than just a place. It’s where I feel alive. It’s where I slow down, find perspective, and reconnect with what truly matters. Some of my favorite moments have never been anything extravagant—they’ve been sitting around a campfire, watching a sunrise, exploring somewhere new, or spending time with the people I love most.

Today, I’m blessed with an amazing wife, three incredible kids, and another little one on the way. Becoming a husband and father has changed the way I see life. It has taught me that success isn’t measured by what you own or accomplish, but by the memories you create, the people you invest in, and the legacy you leave behind.

More than ever, I realize how precious time really is.
My kids won’t stay little forever.

The opportunities in front of me today won’t always be there tomorrow.
That’s one of the reasons Burn Bright means so much to me. It’s a reminder not to waste the days I’ve been given. To be present. To choose adventure over excuses. To put faith and family first. To live a life that matters.

But Burn Bright is about more than adventure.
It’s about impact.

Growing up, faith was a big part of my life. My parents were youth pastors, and although I spent seasons chasing other things, I eventually found my way back to what matters most. That journey helped shape the foundation of this brand and the way I try to live my life today.

The name Burn Bright comes from Matthew 5:16:

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

I believe every person has been given a light, a purpose, and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. While I hope my gear inspires people to chase adventure and live life to the fullest, my deeper hope is that it serves as a reminder to shine for the Lord in everything we do.

Whether that’s through kindness, service, encouragement, leadership, or simply being present for the people around you, your life can leave a lasting impact.

That’s why every piece of Burn Bright gear carries a deeper meaning.
It’s a reminder to live intentionally.
